Caravan is a scouting—or kids' club—type of program for children in 1st through 6th grade. Groups typically meet once a week throughout the school year. Caravan uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help children grow physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually. Caravan focuses on teaching everyday skills (such as car mechanics for boys, sewing for girls, fishing and outdoor skills for all children) with a distinctly Christian focus.

Children become members of one of the three major groups based on their age. Searchers (first and second graders), Explorers (third and fourth graders), or Adventurers (fifth and sixth graders). Each group is under the direction of one or more adult guides. The awarding of badges is a fun but an optional part of this program.

Parents: There is no cost to join this program. The only costs are optional for participation of some events such as pinewood derby cars (usually $5), replacing badges or a sash if lost, and if the child would like a t-shirt $5 (optional). What a great way to get your child involved in a group that will strengthen their mental and physical abilities, as well as socially and spiritually!
